I 'added' the Collar Last !! This is how you start. Pick up stitches around the neck.....then take it from there.
Here is a 'full view' of how far I had gotten before I added collar.
Please keep in mind.........THE BORDER........IS MY "Switch & Count" original Design.
Instructions for that is 'not' available yet. Try creating your own.....for now.....I hope my Design
gives you 'IDEAS' .

I raised the collar here just to show you what size it is but.........at the 'end' after this photo was taken
I did..........take 2 rows of the blue off!! Photo on top with this 'over me' shows that,

My Newest Crochet...One-Piece- "PONCHO"
Hello ! I just finished this one....It got cold here! lol
If you can crochet just a little....... you will be able to do this (if you like A Poncho that is)
It is very 'easy'.......but, I can only give you 'a basic' idea of how I did it FOR NOW ..ok?
I will.......try to write basic instructions here....in the near future.....so , please come back.
Here (below) is photo of Completed Poncho/Cape (note the 'slits' for arms?)

Note: You actually crochet 'downwards'....(the neck is the top)... I use my 'cluster' stitch')
(I created this in 5 days! Ok, I crochet 8-12 hours a day too though...lol.)
HERE I WILL try to GIVE YOU INSTRUCTIONS FOR A 'BASIC' PONCHO ......(no slits for arms)
Start by chaining 80 single crochets for the cluster stitch. You may need less for the double crochet...(or 'measure' your neck !)...do at least 4 rows, then....divide the row into 4 sections.
(I tie a string between the stitches to know 'where' the corners will be!)
'INCREASE' at least 2 extra double crochets when you come to 'the corner' ON........EVERY ROW FROM THEN ON.
(IT'S KIND OF LIKE CROCHETING A 'GRANNIE SQUARE' ..... with a hole big enough for your head to go through! Nothin' to it !!
(For the 'CAPE look with the 'slits for your arms....... right now I just don't know how to write down the instructions for that .... honest) You may be able to 'figure' that out yourself........ I hope.
This is meant to show you 'how I did it'...... just can't 'describe it'......
Next......
almost down to 'bottom'..... add your own 'border' if you like......
now I go back........up to do the 'Collar'....... this is what mine looks like.....
You create this by simply 'picking up' the stitches around the neck......make it as big or as small
as you like........ this is just to 'show you mine'. And....... you can 'see' the stitch I use.
one last look at the COMPLETED ONE OK?
well............. I hope you try creating this if you enjoy crocheting........ great for my 'grandaughters' too!
